Move-Out Date & Time
Your official move-out date is July 31 at 12:00 PM. While you’re welcome to move out earlier, please remember that your lease responsibilities remain in place through the end of the lease term. In accordance with your lease agreement, all residents must vacate their apartments on or before July 31. Unfortunately, late move-outs cannot be accommodated, and remaining in the unit past this date may result in holdover status as outlined in California law. Please also note that moving out early does not release you from your lease obligations, including rent and associated fees through the full lease term. If you have any questions or need clarification, our team is here and happy to help.
What to Turn In
Please be prepared to turn in the items below during the move out. It’s important you turn these into a Paseo Office Team Member to ensure we have received them. The price listed next to the item is what will be charged to your account if they are not returned.
Your Last Installment
July 1st is your last rent installment with Paseo. You or your roommate need to contact SDGE to request that services be removed from your name (or your roommate's name) effective July 31st, 2025. This will ensure that you receive a final billing from the provider and services will revert to the community. Please coordinate with the provider to arrange final bill payment. By handling this process timely, you will no longer be responsible for the utility services at your current service address after July 31st, 2025. If you have renewed for a new apartment here at Paseo Place for 2025-2026, beginning August 1st, 2025, we will be posting monthly utility charges directly to your Resident Portal at the end of the month. Utility charges will be divided evenly amongst housemates. Please note, if you move out sooner than your lease end date, electricity will continue through the end of the lease period. Your Final Account Statement will be emailed to you in the coming weeks after your lease end date. This will include any move-out charges or will show you owe $0.
